Lisa has been writing professionally since 2003. She has a BA in English (summa cum laude) from Sweet Briar College. She has published articles in several magazines and online venues, including CCM Magazine, HomeLife Magazine, and Crosswalk.com. She has also worked on several editing and ghostwriting projects for major publishers in the Christian market, including Thomas Nelson Publishing and Relevant Publishing. She is currently the Book Section Editor for HollywoodJesus.com. She recently co-authored a book with Matthew Paul Turner, What You Didn't Learn From Your Parents About Politics, due for publication in 2007. Her passion is storytelling; she makes profiles and nonfiction come alive through her ability to weave meaning out of the stories that underlie them. Her other passion is grammar, especially the proper use of commas.
